This is a powerful list. Especially at age 25, you're way ahead of the pack. I’ll be following your adventure.

My 26th would be: DO. Action is what transforms you. For all the researching, thinking, or arguing in your head, there’s no replacement for doing. You’ll discover things instantly that all the research in the world can’t show you once you truly start.

Considering you have a picture of you skydiving, you probably have this covered 😉

What a comprehensive list 👏🏻 I’d add: stay curious… always question the norm and see if you can do it differently to add value. 💥

This hit way harder than I expected in the best way. Honestly, a lot of this feels like a blueprint I didn’t know I needed. It’s crazy how much clarity can come just from someone being honest about where they’re at. You’ve clearly done a lot of reflecting and it shows in how intentional you are. I’d love to hear more.

I’ll be keeping up with your journey.

Thank you sir! Appreciate it. My goal is to write content like this weekly. I try my best to make my writing not sound too “preachy”, because I am working through these things myself and I am firm believer that there is no true blueprint for success.

Main things are taking complete ownership of your life, being intentional about how you use your time, and implementing systems that give you some structure.

Appreciate you reading and glad I could provide some value to you. Hope you have a great day man!! ☀️🙌🏻

Man, I really respect that especially the part about writing while you’re still figuring things out. That honesty makes your content way more relatable than anything overly polished or ‘guru’ sounding.

I’m all in on that ownership + intentionality combo too. Feels like that’s the real foundation, no matter what path you’re on.

Keep dropping these — I’ll definitely be tuning in. Appreciate you sharing and being real with it. Wishing you clarity, consistency, and a few well-earned breaks along the way 🙌.

Yeah this was better than that other “whatever that was” lol. I appreciate the part about keeping connections and friendships. It’s hard as we get older and our time is stretched across more responsibilities than ever. It often can cause for our circles to shrink due to demand. Nice read.

I’m well aware that 25 isn’t old - Love this. Wisdom isnt counted in years and if you get this now then your life is incredible already. Thanks for sharing. Everyone needs to hear this.

Hi Ryan, this is an excellent list I wish I had when I was 25! Much older now, but many of these are timeless. Like you implied, it would be very interesting to see how your list evolves over time.

"Modern life is easy. That’s not always a good thing. Seek friction. Choose the hard workout. Take on the project that makes you nervous. We grow through effort."

This has been truer and truer the last 3 years of my life. I've been looking around and watch people complain about minimal stuff. They literally have no idea what hard is - because they avoid it for sure.

I'm turning 24 in September, and I think you and I belong to a set of gen Z that is gonna shape our future, while most our fellas will just follow around and pray, because they didn't take harder shots early on.

Most of them complain about going to the gym after work, or going at all. "I get tired so quickly; I hate being sweaty; I love to go, but mostly to chat".

While I have to go almost everyday, so I can recover from my ACL op., and hopefully be an athlete again.

Sorry for the long text

Hell yeah! Appreciate your comment and for you reading.

I completely agree with you. Our generation has really become quite entitled and seem to complain about so many things. Disconnected from reality.

I hope to continue writing about the importance of delayed gratification, taking responsibility and ownership for your life, and human connection. Getting 1% everyday. 🙌🏻🤝

The last paragraph is a lesson in an of itself -- your own list will always be changing as you grow and your values change.

You're also ahead of the curve with your marathons! I did my first (and only marathon) when I was 35, and I still remember how my legs felt by the end.

One more thing: Know Thyself. It's true you truly won't know yourself until you have gone through decades of living. Yet, you are what you are today and you should know who you are. For example, how do you deal with risk? Thinking about your appetite for risk can help you position yourself. At the same time, a young person should position themselves to take more risks. If you aren't, work on a path to taking more calculated risks.
