Ryan, I enjoyed reading this piece so much! I thing being conscious about what we consume is a game changer. I’ve done a sort of “detox” from social media and doom scrolling and I’ve never been better. This was awesome food for thought! Thank you!!

Sadly quite prevalent. The problems we see right now, is that a lot of what we see in social media has been created for us to be addictive. The creators of these products have come out and openly said that they regretted making these products in this way as it's given people little incentive to connect with each other one on one. Well written and I look forward to reading more :).

Disagree. No one is being conditioned. People consume information that they like. The algorithms simply match people’s preferences. It was worse in the past, when people watched TV programming and couldn’t chose which post to read, which YouTube to watch.
